1975 - 1981: Entered the School of Medicine of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and graduated in 1981.
1986 - 1990: Specialized in Obstetrics-Gynecology at the 1st Obstetrics-Gynecology Clinic of the University of Athens, under the direction of Professor S. Mantalenakis.
1991 - 1992: Retrained at the UNIVERSITE LIBRE DE BRUXELLES, Center for Human Reproduction of the Free University of Brussels (AZ – VUB), under the mentorship of Professors Paul Devroey and André Van Steirteghem.
2003 - 2007: Served as a Lecturer in Obstetrics-Gynecology at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (A.U.Th).
2008 - 2011: Held the position of Assistant Professor of Obstetrics-Gynecology at A.U.Th.
2011 - 2013: Appointed as Permanent Assistant of Obstetrics-Gynecology at A.U.Th.
2013 - 2018: Promoted to Associate Professor of Obstetrics-Gynecology at A.U.Th.
2018 - Present: Elected as Full Professor of Obstetrics-Gynecology of A.P.Th.
Throughout his professional career:
1992 - 1997: Served as Scientific Associate and Head of the Endoscopic Surgery department at the 2nd Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic of the University of Athens at the "Ippokrateio" Hospital.
1992 - Present: Acted as a partner in a private Center for Assisted Reproduction.
1992 - 2000: Co-headed the Department of Endoscopic Surgery at a private clinic in Thessaloniki.
2000 - Present: Held the position of Director of the Department of Endoscopic Surgery and Head of the Obstetrics-Gynecology Department at the European Interbalkan Medical Center of Thessaloniki.
Honors & Awards:
Two 1st Prizes in Panhellenic Conferences and Commendations and an honorary distinction.
From 2016 until today he is the President of the Hellenic Fertility & Sterility Society
From 2018 to today he is President of the SIG Reproductive Surgery of the European Society for Gynecological Endoscopy.
