Dimitrios Tsiachris, MD, PhD

Dr. Tsiachris, a leading Cardiologist and Interventional Electrophysiologist, serves as the Director of the renowned Athens Heart Center at Athens Medical Center. With a prestigious background from the University of Athens and specialized training at Milan Hospital "San Rafaelle," he excels in performing complex electrophysiology procedures and is a pioneer in atrial fibrillation ablation techniques. His extensive research contributions, comprising over 500 scientific articles and numerous book chapters, underscore his commitment to advancing cardiac care globally. Dr. Tsiachris specializes in performing all conventional and complex operations of invasive electrophysiology (catalysis - ablation of supraventricular arrhythmias, implantation of pacemakers, defibrillators and biventricular systems). He is an instructor (proctor) for performing atrial fibrillation ablation using the newest cryocoagulation systems both in Greece and in Europe.
